Our heritage collections

The « Roussin » fund

This collection brings together emblematic objects illustrating the collection sold by the collector Roussin to the city of Fougères in 1895. Exhibited in the museum housed in the « Château de Fougères » until 1985, these objects have since been preserved within the city’s heritage reserves. Sabre, Etruscan necklace, fireman’s helmet, graphic works of the 18th century, medieval coins rub shoulders on the shelves while waiting to be exposed to the eyes of the fousiers and passing tourists.
