Relive the Middle Ages
During summer
For a day or an entire weekend, relive the Middle Ages thanks to evocation and historical re-enactment companies. You’ll learn all about medieval games, weapons, cooking, combat and fashion!

Thursdays at the castle
During summer
Musicians, dancers, equestrians and circus artists take over the Château de Fougères every Thursday during summer. Discover, in an exceptional setting, performances by artists who embody today’s artistic creation.
Free shows every Thursday during the summer school vacations.
Doors open at 8:30pm, show starts at 9pm.
The Nocturnes
During summer
For one summer evening, the castle lights up!
Torches along the ramparts, flickering shadows on the walls, a melody from another time, unusual entertainment: these are the Nocturnes at the château. Discover the fortress like you have never seen it before, in a small, intimate setting for an unforgettable evening.
